She was born and raised in Belchertown, MA, and grew up performing. She studies theatre, with a concentration in musical theatre, at Dean College in Franklin, MA. Some of her recent roles include Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest and Marge Simpson in Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play.

She began lighting in her junior year at Dean, but really grew her passion for lighting design and gained education and experience at College Light Opera Company, where she worked as a scenic crew member, props charge, and became the lighting designer for She Loves Me and The Scarlet Pimpernel during their 2022 season.
